Morris Animal Foundation

THE NEED: Based in Denver, CO, Morris Animal Foundation advances health and wellness research for animals. Seeking a fresh website that served their diverse audiences, MAF contracted Firefly Partners to design and build their new site and develop tools that would allow donors and supporters to engage with the foundation easily.

THE SOLUTION:  The first step of this engagement was launching a TeamRaiser that would support the Canine Cancer Walks held in Colorado and California and roll out www.curecaninecancer.org on the Convio CMS platform.
 
Once these sites were off the ground, Firefly focused on redesigning the main MAF website in the Convio CMS with the specific goal of providing the organization’s many audiences – from veterinarians to researchers to committed donors – the resources they need to support animal health research. Firefly’s approach was to identify the needs of each audience and provide specific paths of engagement for each. Veterinarians continue to support MAF by sending cards to their clients. Researchers are able to find funding guidelines and identify research that has already been carried out. And committed supporters now have the ability to raise funds in honor of a special pet and tell their stories.
 
The final stage of this partnership is to build out www.research4cats.org on the Convio CMS platform and launch a tool that will allow animal lovers across the country to plan local events and raise money to support animal health research.
